HCSO – Amanda Walther
Amanda Kay Walther is a senior at George M. Steinbrenner High School in Lutz, Florida, and will graduate with a 4.63 grade point average. Amanda has challenged herself by taking a course load consisting of honors and advance placement classes. Amanda balanced her education with her extracurricular activities which included FFA, NHS, BETA, JROTC, and also working a 30 hours a week job. In addition, Amanda was also a basketball and volleyball player as well as being a .cheerleader.
Amanda is dedicated to giving back to her community, which can be seen through the variety of services projects that she has participated in. She volunteers through FFA and on her own at Quantum Leap Farm, which is a horse riding farm dedicated to helping the disabled and learning impaired.
Amanda has been accepted at the University of Tampa where she plans to major in the biological side of veterinary medicine.
Amanda is the daughter of step-father Lieutenant Luis Llauger, mother Retired Deputy Paige Llauger, father Retired Corporal Mark Walther, and step-mother Vania Walther.
