Detective Ashely Lindeman is a Tampa Bay native. After graduating from Pinellas Park High School’s Criminal Justice Academy, she attended Florida Gulf Coast Univeristy and the University of South Florida. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminolgy in the spring of 2009 and began her career with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) as a Deputy Sheriff. Detective Lindeman is a graduate of the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Orientation Training Program (S.O.T. class #7). She received the Jack K. Barker First Aid Award and the Academic Achievement Award given to the cadet with the highest GPA upon completion of the Law Enforcement Academy.
In the fall of 2009, Detective Lindeman was assigned as a patrol deputy in HCSO District III, and was recommended by her supervisors to be a Field Training Officer (FTO) in the fall of 2014.
In the spring of 2015, Detective Lindeman was asked to be a Community Resource Deputy (CRD). As a CRD, Detective Lindeman was responsible for handling citizen complaints, neighborhood watches, and finding resolutions to problematic areas within the Westchase/Odessa communities. Detective Lindeman’s responsibilities continued to expand as she served as the HCSO District III Crisis Intervention Team Coordinator (CIT). As a CIT Coordinator, she was responsible for bringing together Law Enforcement Agencies, Mental Healthcare Providers, Hospital Emergency Departments, and individuals with mental illness and their families to improve responses to people in crisis. She also served as a member of the HCSO SafetyNet Team, which responds to all incidents involving missing/endangered adults and children in hopes of reuniting these individuals with their loved ones.
Detective Lindeman has received several commendations for her hard work and dedication. She was promoted to the rank of Detective in the summer of 2016 and is currently assigned to District III Latent Investigations Section.
Detective Lindeman has been married to her husband, Ryan, for nine years and has one beautiful daughter.
