Captain Greg Pauley’s job performance in the year 2016 was nothing short of outstanding. As Investigative Services Division Commander he meticulously manages his division’s budget, as well as that of the entire department, to include the approval and tracking of all requisitions and the timely payment of all invoices. The database engineered by Captain Pauley is utilized by all members of the Command Staff for the management of their respective budgets.
Captain Pauley was also charged with crafting a Request for Proposal (RFP) soliciting bids for an integrated records management, report writing and computer aided dispatch system. After the evaluation and award process, Captain Pauley worked to ensure the language in the contract spelled out exactly what was expected from the vendor. Following revisions and consultation with the City’s attorney, the contract was signed with MobileTec to be our RMS, CAD and report writing software solution. Captain Pauley has been working with the MobileTec hierarchy to build the implementation schedule to meet the anticipated August 2017 go-live date.
Captain Pauley’s law enforcement career spans the last twenty-nine years, with twenty-eight years of service to the City of Temple Terrace. He has held positions in both Patrol and Investigative Services, including enforcement, investigative and supervisory assignments.
Captain Pauley is currently the Division Commander of the Investigative Services Division where he oversees criminal investigations and special enforcement activities. He is a life-long resident of Hillsborough County and has been married to his wife, Nicole, for fifteen years. They have one son, Connor.
