Temple Terrace Police Department Officer of the Year - Corporal John Spala

Corporal John Spala is an integral member to the Temple Terrace Police Department and devotes much of his time to the success and betterment of the agency.

Corporal Spala is the Team Leader of the department’s Crisis Response Team (CRT) as well as the supervisor of the agency’s Traffic Fatality Unit (TFU).  He embraces these roles and seeks out state of the art equipment and training to ensure his teams are of the highest caliber.

Corporal Spala has proven himself time and time again to be one of the Temple Terrace Police Department’s most valuable employees. He is one of those “go-to-guys” who never lets you down. He is a credit to himself, his squad, and the organization.
