Maddison Ouimette

Maddison Ouimette is a senior at Clearwater High School in Clearwater, Florida, and will graduate with a 4.7288 weighted and 4.0 unweighted grade point average. Maddison has taken numerous Advanced Placement and AICE courses to challenge herself throughout high school.

Since sophomore year, Maddison has served as class president, helping to carry out many positive changes around her school. She is a three-year member of Future Business Leaders of America, where she currently serves as treasurer, and has competed in state competitions for Management Decision Making. She is also vice-president of Science National Honor Society and secretary of National Honor Society. She has represented her school as a member of the homecoming court and as a student ambassador for the Ford NGL 2018 Winter Conference. Additionally, she works 20 hours a week at her local Michael’s.

Maddison enjoys giving back to her community, and mentors younger students at Oak Grove Middle School. She also participates in many smaller service activities and helped with hurricane relief in Texas following Hurricane Harvey. It was through this trip that Maddison became passionate about helping those around her, and she plans to continue to do so throughout college and her career.

Maddison has been accepted to the University of Florida and plans to major in Microbiology and Cell Science.

Maddison is the daughter of Detective Charles VanSickle and wife Carin.
