Cheyenne Schumacher is a senior at Strawberry Crest High School in Dover, Florida, and will graduate with a 5.98 grade point average. Cheyenne has challenged herself by completing the International Baccalaureate Programme, designed to academically challenge students on a global level. She has dedicated her time as an active member of her school, by being a member and leader of her school’s show choir, Fearless club, and Tri-M Music Honor Society. Additionally, she has participated in numerous other clubs such as Marine Biology, National Honor Society, Uplift Humanity and Red Cross. She has also logged several hours toward her private pilot’s license.
Cheyenne has given back to her community by participating in numerous fundraising events such as Chargerthon, a student led danceathon for John Hopkin’s All Children’s Hospital; Empty Bowls, an annual Veterans Day event which provides hot meals for those who have served our country; and she was captain of her own Relay for Life team for the past two years.
Cheyenne has been accepted at the University of South Florida where she plans to major in Bio-Medical Engineering.
Cheyenne is the daughter of Captain Cory Schumacher and wife, Mary.
